The Salvation Army of Kosciusko County elected new board members during the first board meeting for its new fiscal year Oct. 20. The following officers were recognized and installed during the meeting: Chairperson Alan Alderfer, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary Jennifer Stofer and Treasurer Dennis Reeve. “We are confident our new board leaders will help move our organization to the next level as we continue serving the needy in our community,” said, Lt. Esteban Pommier, corps officer. Corps Officer Lt. Karen Pommier said, “Our new board officers have already served faithfully for several years and we have already been blessed by their support over the years. We only expect great things this new year.” During the short induction ceremony, the new board officers publicly committed to the six A’s: To be an ambassador, advisor, advocate to provide success, affluence and assistance.
