I wanted to take a second today to express my most sincere appreciation for all of you reaching out to congratulate me for the Sagamore of the Wabash award. I was so surprised and humbled when Dr. Hoffert presented this to me.
I want to thank Gov. Holcomb, Dr. Hoffert, Craig Snow and my wife Rachael for all that was done on my behalf. I want to thank all my kids and grandkids for being there to support and celebrate this event.
Most of all, I wanted to share to God be the glory. I have always lived my life to answer God’s call. I go as He guides. I am His hands and feet to make a difference in this world we live in.
I love our state of Indiana. I love our community.
Thank you again. I have been so blessed and my heart has been touched by this and by all of you.
