Family members of Lisa Heather Mora recently opened a safe belonging to Omar Mora.
Lisa Heather Mora, 32, was shot and killed May 23 at her home in Vicky Lane in Warsaw minutes after Harpal Singh, 38, Warsaw, was gunned down at the Phillips 66 gas station on East Center Street. According to police, Omar Mora killed both individuals after finding out the two allegedly were having an affair.
Steven James, who identified himself as Lisa's brother-in-law, and Bill Link, identified as Lisa's uncle, said they opened a safe belonging to Omar Mora Saturday afternoon at the Mora's home. Inside were two wallets containing credit cards and identification for Mora.
Also found was Mora's green card, passport, checkbook and an address book.
The items were taken to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department where they were checked in as evidence.
Omar Mora is at large and wanted in both murders. Federal Marshalls are currently aiding in the investigation.
Omar Mora was described by neighbors as "quiet" and "well-liked," though James painted a different picture.
"All I can say is that from things in the past, in the back of our mind, we thought maybe something like this could happen," James said.
James said that although the family is still mourning Lisa's death, they are channeling their anger into catching Omar Mora.
Mora is described as 5-foot, 7 inches, 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Mora was last seen driving a 2003 Chevy Silverado full-sized pickup truck with license plate 5181T.
Anyone with information on Mora is asked to call Kosciusko County Dispatch at 574-267-5667.
