PERU - Sadie Rae Lindsey, 56, of Peru, died at approximately 11 p.m. May 9, 2007, in her residence.
She was born Aug. 27, 1950, in Portland, Ore., to Leonard C. and Sadie P. Elder Lewis. On Feb. 9, 1974, she married James Lindsey, who died Dec. 10, 2000.
Surviving are a daughter; three grandchildren; and two sisters, including Penny B. Finnegan, Rochester. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Services were at 1:30 today at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru, with Pastor Butch Troke officiating. Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Rochester.
