The Sacred Heart Vocations Committee and the Knights of Columbus of Warsaw recently sponsored their annual essay contest 'Increasing Vocation Awareness'. All students from Sacred Heart School in first through sixth grade participated in this contest. For first through third grade, the topic was 'What special qualities would a priest, sister or a brother have?' For fourth through sixth grade, the topic was 'Explain what special qualities a priest, sister or brother would have? Describe any of those qualities you might see in yourself'. The students pictured will be awarded a $10 prize by the Knights of Columbus for winning the contest at their grade level. The winners will also read their essays at an upcoming weekend mass.
