First-grade classes of Mrs. Fulk and Mrs. Solloway recently visited Fort Wayne and explored Fox Island. Activities they participated in ranged from leaf and tree identification, plant identification and nature’s different growth patterns on trees. They heard numerous birds and carefully listened to identify different sounds. The students enjoyed a picnic lunch on the island while enjoying nature.
