Sacred Heart’s preschool classes, KPrep4 with teacher Lili Polk, and PreK3 with teacher Cindy Hollowell, conducted a service project this Christmas. Monday, the preschool classes teamed up to decorate a total of 1,500 cookies for Our Father’s House. With the help of several parents, students frosted, decorated and wrapped lots of cookies for less fortunate families. Our Father’s House provided the cookies. Our preschoolers brought in sprinkles, M&M’s, chocolate kisses and other items to decorate cookies as well as colored cellophane paper rolls and bows to wrap them up in holiday style. The students loved decorating the cookies as well as sampling one of them after decorating time was finished. The KPrep4 class meets five days a week or may have the option to choose a four-day program that meets Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and noon to 2:30 p.m. with Polk. Classes for 3-year-olds are three days a week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday or a two-day program that meets Monday and Tuesday during the same hours. The teacher is Cindy Hollowell.
