Sacred Heart Students Explore 3D

Posted

Students in fifth and sixth grade recently were introduced to a form of art and technology, 3-D. In the last month, students created their own 3-D objects with a computer program. The projects were then printed out using a 3-D printer that was purchased this year. The sixth-grade students created objects that pertained to Greece. Some of the objects were shields, coins, Greek letters and buildings. These items will be on display at the school’s annual culture fair. Each class has learned about a country as part of the STREAM Learning Program. There will be many items on display, projects done by students and food samples for purchase. This event is open to the public. The Sacred Heart Culture Fair is Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Pictured are some sixth-grade students holding the projects they constructed.
