Sacred Heart School students and staff had the opportunity to wear one of Principal James Faroh’s ties during Catholic Schools Week for a donation. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society for research. Faroh has been collecting ties for over 40 years and has a collection of different widths, styles, holidays, special themes, hilarious, commemorative, character and more. He has over 500 ties in his collection. Faroh selected to wear his “signature tie” that was specially embroidered for him with his name. Donating to this cause is close to the hearts of Sacred Heart students and staff because of some friends and family that battle cancer. The students were taught how to tie a tie and had a panoramic picture taken by parishioner/photographer Bob List. Pictured are students, staff; Juliana Newbill, specialist, Relay For Life; and Faroh presenting the check.
