On May 15, 120 students and parents attended and cheered on the Fort Wayne TinCaps in Fort Wayne as a reward for surpassing their reading goal for the school year. Students who read books and completed reading tests received points. Each student had a goal set by their teachers and had to earn not only their goal, but 50 percent over it. Students received a free ticket to the game, a prize megaphone, a hot dog, chips and a soft drink. A great time was had by all and plans for next year's ball game are being made. Pictured at Parkview Field in Fort Wayne are (L to R), front row: Will Burnett, Libby Kirkham, Austin Hollowell; standing: Betty Barnett, Brody Glenn, Ms. Kirkendall, Macy Glenn, Dr. Durecki, Brynn Durecki and Blake Durecki.
