Sacred Heart Lego® Club

Posted

Sacred Heart School’s Lego Club is all about building. This year the after-school Lego club for students in preschool through sixth grade is definitely ‘building.’ It is building in Lego structures, in the number of students participating, and in the number of coaches. Lastly, while working together creating their Lego structures, the students are building friendships. Students interested in building and exploring Lego structures meet in the school gym. The club is sponsored by the Warsaw Community Library. The club director is an employee of the public library and a Sacred Heart School parent, Susie Bolland. Also helping with the club are nine parents and two staff members. Students enjoy healthy snacks while participating in creating structures with Legos supplied by the Public Library. The students share their creations with the rest of the club members and develop their skills as part of our school’s science, technology, engineering and math program. Pictured are parents, grandparents and staff along with some of the more than 60 students, who are wearing their Lego Club shirts while creating their Lego structures.
