Sacred Heart School fourth-grade students concluded their studies of economics by helping the first-grade students learn how to count money. The fourth-grade students formed a business, made products out of paper, and sold their products while tallying their daily expenses and profits in a ledger. On the final day of this lesson, the first-grade came in and learned how to count coins by purchasing paper products such as games, bookmarks, iPhones and doughnuts.
