Jeff Kelsheimer, manager of Camp Logan, Girl Scout Camp, spoke to the Sacred Heart fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade students about his career in camp management.
Kelsheimer, who is a graduate of Vincennes University in conservation science, has managed camps in both Illinois and Indiana. He spoke about the multitude of talents it takes to run a camp. Kelsheimer is husband of Karen Kelsheimer, music teacher at Sacred Heart. They have three children who attend the school. In conjunction with College Go! Week and the new Common Core State Standards, the students will hear speakers throughout the school year who will share their job experiences so students can examine different careers and colleges.
