RykerJay Daniel Newman, 1, South Whitley, passed away at 5:44 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, in Riley Children’s Hospital, Indiana University Health, Indianapolis.
He was born on Oct. 15, 2017, to Gregory Newman and Brittanie Michelle Fugate in Fort Wayne. Brittanie passed away on Nov. 24, 2017.
RykerJay is survived by his dad, Gregory Newman; and a sister, Adalynn Fae Newman, both of South Whitley: paternal grandparents, Larry Newman, Ligonier and Brandie Rex, Columbia City; maternal grandparent, Sherri Fugate, Ligonier; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
RykerJay will always be in our hearts and prayers forever.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 7, with a service following at noon at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Pastor Rob Seewald will officiate the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
