MENTONE – Ryan N. Owens, 41, rural Warsaw, died at 10:42 a.m. Sept. 9, 2016, at his residence. He was born Nov. 27, 1974, in Plymouth, to John and Helen Truex Owens. On Nov. 11, 2000, in Columbia City, he married Mary Lu Coleman, who survives in Warsaw. He worked at Crouse Body Shop, Warsaw. He was a 1993 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School. He enjoyed fishing, farming, and riding Honda ATVs with his son. He also rode his Harley Davidson Sportster with his brother on cross country trips, which included a trip to New York and Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Also surviving are his parents in Mentone; his twin son and daughter, Matthew and Taylor Owens; a sister, Kim (and spouse Jeff) Carson, Etna Green; and a brother, Kevin Owens, Mentone. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeremy?Owens. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church with pastor Bruce Barlow officiating.
