LAGRANGE - Ruthmary Coffin, 92, of LaGrange, died July 25, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, LaGrange.
She was born March 23, 1915, in Cicero, to Alvin K. and Louva O.Wilson Baker. On May 30, 1937, in Noblesville, she married Lynn O. Roberts, who died July 28, 1970. On Jan. 2, 1979, in Las Vegas, Nev., she married E. Wyatt Coffin, who died Dec. 15, 1989.
She moved to LaGrange County from Bloomington in 1947. She was a former co-owner of LaGrange Title Co. She was a member of LaGrange First United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of Radiant Chapter 200 Order of the Eastern Star, Noblesville, where she was a past matron.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. David (Constance) Dittman, Warsaw; nine grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory B. Roberts, who died Feb. 19, 1976; two sisters; and four brothers.
An Order of the Eastern Star service will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, by members of Sylvan Chapter 251, LaGrange, with the funeral service to follow with the Rev. Denise Heller officiating. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville.
