FORT WAYNE - Ruth N. Robinson, 89, died May 21, 2007, in Towne House Health Center.
She was born Feb. 25, 1918, in Portland, to George W. and Bessie Davis. She married Donald Robinson, who died in 2004.
She lived in Fort Wayne from 1940-64; Warsaw from 1964-82; and Fort Wayne from 1982 until present. She was a graduate of Portland High School and International Business College, Fort Wayne. She worked for International Harvester Co. and was a member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, Humphrey Study Club and PEO.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Judy) Van Fossen, Fort Wayne; a son, Richard Robinson, Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Caleb Davis, Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, Fort Wayne.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
