ROCHESTER – Ruth M. Green, 80, of Rochester, died at 7:40 p.m. March 5, 2013, in her residence. She was born Nov. 13, 1932, in New Waverly, to Thurman and Lova Snyder Azbell. On June 13, 1953, in Rochester, she married William “Jr.” Green, who died Dec. 3, 1993. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1951. Surviving are her companion, Merle Collins, Rochester; two daughters, Sheryll Green and Misty (and spouse Keith) Eskridge, all of Rochester; two sons William “Brian” (and spouse Janelle) Green, Rochester, and Mickey Green, Kewanna; a sister, Janet “Dolly” Ballinger, Rochester; three brothers, Merrill (and spouse Grace) Azbell, North Manchester; Wendell “Wendy” (and spouse Carol) Azbell, North Vernon; and Daryle (and spouse Carolyn) Azbell, Peru; and three grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two brothers. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with Rev. Junior Bose officiating. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
