Ruth J. Julian, 88, passed away at 9:34 p.m. Nov. 5, 2012, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born April 16, 1924, in Warsaw, to Earl R. and Glade Entsminger Snyder. On Sept. 27, 1941, in Warsaw, she married Raymond J. Julian, who died Jan. 29, 1992.
She was a homemaker and a giving person. She was all about her family.
Surviving are two sons, Terry (and spouse Lucinda “Cinda”) Julian, Etna Green, and Max (and spouse Evelyn) Julian, Warsaw; six grandchildren: Dawn (and spouse Shawn) Morton; Nan Sturgess (and Shawn Hapner, friend); Nicki (and spouse Tony) Palmer; Cord (and spouse Lisa) Julian;     Chandra (and spouse Steve) Damon; and Jason (and spouse Terra) Julian; 15 great-grandchildren: Matthew Morton (and Tara Sanders, friend); Caitlin (and spouse Vince) Yoder; Zack (and spouse Michelle) Morton; Connor Julian; Nate (and spouse Haley) Morton; Kristen Damon; RaeAnn Wallen; Benjamin Damon; Donnie (and spouse Courtney) Wallen; Raven Julian; Colton Wallen (and Cierra Wilson, friend); Hunter Julian; Brittany Sherman; Griffen Julian; and Hannah Sherman; 10 great-great-grandchildren: Liam, Madison, Bryce, Makenzey, Bria, Kylie, Brayden, Braxton, Allison and a baby boy due in February 2013); a twin sister, Ruby Rapp, Leesburg; a brother-in-law, Harold Julian, Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Dewey, Donald and Harold Snyder.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by the Rev. Terry Bradford of First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, Claypool. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
