ROCHESTER - Ruth Filley, 79, of Rochester, died at 1:50 a.m. Feb. 20, 2011, in her residence.
She was born April 28, 1931, to Harold and Helen Grant Bartman. She married Jack Filley, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are her companion, Larry Bogseth, Rochester; two daughters, Vickie (and spouse William) Hubner, Warsaw, and Brenda (and spouse Gene) Rinkenberg, Plymouth; three sons: Donnie (and spouse Lucinda) Gaut, Nappanee; John (and spouse Patty) Gaut, Milford; and Mark (and spouse RaeAnn) Gaut, Wakarusa; two sisters, Betty (and spouse Leroy) Chokey, Nappanee, and Carman Bickman, Rochester; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a stepdaughter, Sherry Six; four stepsons, Ted, Craig, Scott and Jack Filley. She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with Chaplain Jason See officiating.
Calling is two hours prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
