SYRACUSE - Ruth E. Robinson, 79, of Syracuse, died at 2:03 p.m. Feb. 26, 2007, in Goshen General Hospital.
She was born Nov. 27, 1927, in the Philippines, to Dr. George D. and Hazel E. Hodil Strohm. On April 4, 1952, she married the Rev. Kennard Robinson, who survives.
Moving to the Syracuse area from St. Paul, Minn., she was a second-grade teacher at Syracuse Elementary for 25 years. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Syracuse. She was an organist and pianist. She received a bachelor's degree from Taylor University, a master's degree from Ball State University and a bachelor's of theology from Crown College, St. Paul.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary United Methodist Church, Syracuse, with the Rev. David Herr officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
