SYRACUSE - Ruth D. Bostel, 86, formerly of Huntington, died Nov. 15, 2010, in Mason Health & Rehab, Warsaw, where she resided.
She was born Feb. 20, 1924, in Marion, to Lester and Bertha Logan Tinkle. On Dec. 22, 1950, she married Waldo Bostel, who survives.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She liked to cook, read and quilt. She was a member of North Webster United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol (and spouse Rex) Werstler and Priscilla (and spouse Thomas) Goon; a son, Richard (and spouse Shelly) Fields; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher officiating. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery - Mock Addition.
Calling is two hours prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
