Ruth Christa Miller of Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, 900 Provident Drive, Warsaw, Indiana passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 10:31 a.m. at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw at the age of 80.
She was born on April 10, 1931 in Sondershausen, Germany to Wilhelm H. Danneil and Herta B. Matschullat. On November 21, 1970 she was married to Joseph P. Miller, who preceded her in death in 1972.
Ruth moved to the United States from Germany in 1949 with her parents. She attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and then worked as a technical writer and translator for Bendix Corporation in South Bend, Indiana. She moved to Warsaw in 1985, and resided here until her passing.
Her funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Chaplain Glenn Byers. There will be visitation an hour prior on Monday from 9-10:00 a.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home in Warsaw.
A graveside service will follow at St. John Church of Christ Cemetery in Woodland, Indiana.
