NORTH MANCHESTER — Ruth Blankenship, 88, North Manchester, died at 7:26 a.m. Dec. 21, 2017, in her residence.
She was born Jan. 11, 1930, in Grey Eagle, W.Va., to Bill and Ersie Newsome Whitt. She was married to Albert Blankenship on March 3, 1947, in Marrowbone Creek, W.Va. He died July 17, 2001.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God, 303 S. Jefferson St., Silver Lake. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the church.
