Ruth Ann HazelRuth Ann Hazel, of Warsaw, passed away at Mason Health and Rehabilitation on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022 at the age of 80.
On Oct. 30, 1942, Ruth was born in Goshen to the late Wilmer and Etta Fern Grabill. She married Dennis M. Hazel on May 31, 1995, and enjoyed 20 years together until his passing on Feb. 19, 2016.
Ruth had a creative and artistic soul. She worked in the fabric department at Walmart for 23 years supporting other crafters until her retirement in 2007. Ruth continued to sew and create beautiful quilts for many years until her eyesight declined. Most of all, Ruth loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ruth will be deeply missed by her children, Mitch Feldman, Tracy (Ron Pease) Feldman, and Tina (Steve) Pawlak; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Mary Gordon.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with Ruth’s care. Per her wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Middlebury.
