 BOURBON – Ruth A. Howard, 56, Tippecanoe, passed away April 16, 2015, in her home with her family at her side. She was born March 18, 1959, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to Milton and Arminta Edmiston Tackett. She married Joseph Howard, who survives in Tippecanoe. She attended Grace Fellowship Outreach Church, Tippecanoe. She was a homemaker, a mom and really enjoyed her family. She worked in restaurants in Bourbon and Tippecanoe. She was an adventurer. She loved yard work, being outdoors and hummingbirds. Also surviving are father of her children, Donald Kleespie, Columbia City; her mother, Arminta (and spouse James) McIntosh, Tippecanoe; a daughter, Amanda Kleespie, Tippecanoe; two sons, William (and spouse Janet) Kleespie, Tippecanoe, and Isaac (and spouse Crystal) Kleespie, Bourbon; six grandchildren, Isaac, Kennedy, Destiny, DéJa, Danté and Jocelyn; a sister, Jackie (and spouse Jack) Hackworth, Tippecanoe; four brothers: James and Jerry (and spouse Jane) Tackett, all of South Carolina; Johnny (and spouse Ruby) Tackett, Tippecanoe; and Mike Tackett, Middlebury. Preceeding her in death was her father and a brother, Lonnie Tackett. In honoring her wishes, there are no services planned at this time.
