MISHAWAKA – Russell Lowell Snodgrass, 72, of Mishawaka, died at 4:55 a.m. Oct. 19, 2011, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.
He was born Jan. 20, 1939, in Indianapolis, to Clyde and Ruth Everhart Snodgrass. In 1959, in North Liberty, he married Suellen Jackson, who survives.
He was a member of American Legion Post 253, North Webster. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, cooking and feeding the hummingbirds. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Also surviving are a daughter, Carole (and spouse John) Werntz, Elkhart; a granddaughter, Lisa (and spouse Ty) Miller, Osceola; a sister, Barbara Wiggins, Clinton; and a brother, James Snodgrass, Walkerton. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Glen; and two brothers.
Calling is from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway W., Osceola. Cremation will take place at Elkhart Cremation Services.
