Russell Bailey, 73, Warsaw, passed away at 7:25 p.m. Jan. 23, 2015, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born Jan. 15, 1942, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Grover and Maudie Hale Bailey. In 1970, in Warsaw, he married Sherry Jo Hall. Living most of his life in Kosciusko County, he worked as a self-employed auto body repairman. He was a member of God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw. Surviving are a son, Russell Anthony “Tony” Bailey, St. Mary’s, Ohio; four grandchildren: Austin, Mikila, Sarah and Wyatt; his brother, James Edgar Bailey, Warsaw; and his sister, Ruby Stephens, Pierceton. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Lance and Shane Bailey; and six brothers: Lawrence, Jack, Lowell, Ralph, Sam “Bo” and Billy Ray Bailey. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at God’s Highway to Heaven Church with the Rev. Bob Brown officiating. Burial is in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton. Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
