AKRON – The first-ever Helping Hands 5K Run/Walk will be held at 10 a.m. July 11 at the Tippecanoe Valley High School cross country course, 8345 S. Ind. 19 in Akron. The race fee is $20 plus a $2.50 sign-up fee, with proceeds to go to the Helping Hands food pantry. The entry fee includes a t-shirt for the event.
