Rudolf ‘Rudy’ or ‘Opa’ SelentSYRACUSE – Rudolf “Rudy” or “Opa” Selent, 91, Syracuse, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse.
He was born May 4, 1930, in Germany to Friedrich and Marianne Selent.
He was married Oct. 6, 1962, in Chicago Heights, Ill., to Erna Baum, who survives.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7 at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7 in the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Miller’s Merry Manor BINGO Fund, 500 E. Pickwick Drive, Syracuse, IN 46567.
