NAPPANEE - Ruby Mae Miller, 81, formerly of Nappanee, died at 10:15 p.m. Aug. 10, 2009, in Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa, where she resided.
She was born June 28, 1928, in LaGrange, to Joe J. and Fannie M. Miller. On Feb. 2, 1949, in Amboy, she married William Miller, who died March 28, 2008.
She was a lifetime area resident and attended Wakarusa Missionary Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna (and spouse Terry) Martin, Wakarusa, and Diane (and spouse Jay) Yoder, Chicago, Ill.; a son, Larry (and spouse Pam) Miller, Edgar, Wis.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ellen (and spouse Tobias) Borkholder, Bremen, and Arlene J. (and spouse Harve) Yoder, Filer, Idaho; and two brothers, Elton Jay (and spouse Frieda) Miller, Spooner, Wis., and Ervin LeRoy (and spouse Shirley) Miller, Sarasota, Fla. She was preceded in death by a son, two sisters and a brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wakarusa Missionary Church with the Rev. Kent Norr officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
