GOSHEN - Ruby M. Rowdabaugh, 85, of 1332 Waterford Crossing Circle, Goshen, died at 7:45 a.m. May 17, 2009, in The Maples at Waterford Crossing.
She was born Oct. 18, 1923, in Whitley County, to Royal W. and Goldie Hess Cummins. On Feb. 23, 1963, in New Paris, she married Billy Junior Rowdabaugh, who died March 1, 2005.
She was a homemaker and a member of Rock Run Church of the Brethren, where she was a deaconess and a member of Women's Christian Temperance Union. She was a North Webster High School graduate and spent a year at Manchester College.
Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie (and spouse Gordon) Westphal, New Paris; a son, Richard Rowdabaugh, Goshen; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rock Run Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Tim Waits and the Rev. Wayne Lawson officiating. A family prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Baintertown Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
