Ruby M. Calhoun, 77, of Warsaw, passed away at 1:42 a.m. Jan. 22, 2012, in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw, after an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 17, 1935, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Charles and Ella Hunt Calhoun. On July 7, 1955, she married her high school sweetheart, Doug Calhoun, who survives.
She moved to Warsaw and after many years of being a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed 28 years at DePuy.
Also surviving are a daughter, Debbie Donovan; a son, Mike (and spouse Penny) Calhoun; two granddaughters, Darlene (and spouse Tom) Pautler and Diane (and spouse Aaron) Goodpaster; a grandson, Tim Donovan; four great-granddaughters, Nicole, Amy, Heather Pautler and Maci Goodpaster; a brother, Troy (and spouse JoAnn) Calhoun; and several nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of her life will be at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Woody Burchett officiating.
