ROCHESTER – Ruby Jackson, 92, of Rochester, died at 4:13 a.m. July 14, 2012, in Hickory Creek, Rochester.
She was born May 14, 1920, in Gibson County, Tenn., to John B. and Ethel Crawford Edmundson. On Sept. 28, 1946, in Rochester, she married Robert E. Jackson, who died Dec. 7, 1978.
She was a secretary at Rochester Farmer’s Mutual Insurance Co. until her retirement a number of years ago. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, the Women’s Christian Service Guild and Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen Callahan, Rochester; a son, Ken Jackson (and spouse Pat Foley), Scottsdale, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in Rochester’s IOOF Cemetery.
