Ruby Irene Sausaman, 93, Warsaw, passed away Friday, Nov, 3, 2017, at 2 a.m. in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born Nov. 16, 1923, in South Bend, to Daisy Mae Lake and Ralph Noggle. On Nov. 2, 1941, she was united in marriage to Rex I. Sausaman who preceded her in death.
She graduated from Leesburg High School in 1941 and worked as a farmer most of her life, and also worked in an ammunition factory during World War II. She was a member of the Dutchtown Brethren Church. She enjoyed needlework and sewing along with gardening and spending time with her beloved family.
She is survived by her two daughters: Nancy (Bob) Framme, Churubusco; and Sally (and deceased spouse Fritz) Kahlenberg, Tampa, Fla.; a son, Ron (Evelin) Sausaman, Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, Norma Loe, Provo, Utah; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A special family friend, Linda McCleary of Warsaw, also survives.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Nov. 6 at 2 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Jack Worth officiating.
