Roundup Led By Warsaw's Struggle In NLC Opener At Plymouth

PLYMOUTH — The Warsaw girls tennis team opened its Northern Lakes Conference season with a 5-0 loss at Plymouth Tuesday night. Warsaw’s closest match was at No. 2 singles, where Sarah Boyle lost the opening set 6-4 against Mikayla German, but came back to win the second, 6-1. Following that dominating second-set victory, Boyle played German to a tiebreaker in the third set, but narrowly lost 7-6 (7-5). The loss drops Warsaw to 0-2 overall, but the Lady Tigers will look to even up their NLC record tonight at home against Northridge. PLYMOUTH 5, WARSAW 0 SINGLES: No. 1 – Allie Berger (P) def.
