NORTH MANCHESTER — At Sycamore Golf Club in North Manchester Tuesday, the Northfield boys golf team picked up a pair of Three Rivers Conference victory. Northfield shot a 184 on the par-36 course, followed by Manchester’s 194 and Whitko’s 199. Individually, Manchester’s Conner Eichenauer and Whitko’s Danny Zawlocki each shot a 41. Whitko will be at Columbia City today, while Manchester’s next match is Wednesday at Southwood. GIRLS TENNIS Tuesday in Warsaw In Northern Lakes Conference girls tennis action Monday, the Warsaw Lady Tigers fell 3-2 Tuesday at home against NorthWood. Falling to 4-6 on the year and 1-4 in the NLC, Warsaw did get individual wins from Sarah Boyle and Rachel Alexander at Nos. 2 and 3 singles, respectively. In the win, Katie Peden was a 6-0, 6-1 victor at No. 1 singles and the No. 1 doubles team of Karly Eichenauer and Leiah Brandenburg won 6-3, 6-3. Tuesday in Knox Coming down to No. 1 doubles, Triton’s Holly Stogsdill and Carrie Slabaugh won in three sets Tuesday in Knox, pushing the Lady Trojans to a 3-2 Northern State Conference win. With the match knotted a 2-2, Stogsdill and Slabaugh lost their opening set 6-4, but came back to win the second 6-2, then the third 6-1, improving the team to 8-2 overall and 3-1 in the NSC.
