MENTONE — The Lawrence D. Bell Aircraft Museum will hold its annual “Rotors Over Mentone” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 25.
The museum is at 210 S. Oak St. Admission and parking are free.
This year Phil Marshall, Vietnam pilot and author from Ohio, is returning to continue sharing his and others’ experiences flying non-armed rescue missions in Vietnam.
After the program there will be the opportunity to buy copies of his books and have him sign them. The program starts at 11 a.m.
American Huey 369 arrives at 10 a.m. from Peru and will offer membership flights after the program.
Other helicopter rides will be offered at $50 a person, a five-minute ride for one person on board, two people for 10 minutes and three people for 15 minutes.
New this year is a game area for kids. Kids who play all the games will get a treat. Games will start at noon and go to 3 p.m.
Food will be available at the concession stand all day.
