Ross E. Hackworth, age 81, of Warsaw, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
Ross was born Feb. 11, 1939, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Eddie and Julia Hannah Hackworth. He was united in marriage to Linda Carol Clark on May 29, 1964, in Prestonsburg, Ky., who preceded him in death in 2007.
Ross was employed from 1966 to 1985 at Wabash Alloy Foundry. He was a member of Warsaw Family Worship Center.
Ross is survived by children, Stephen Edward Hackworth, Warsaw; Deborah Lynne (Gordon) Hurd, Larwill; four sisters; and one brother. In addition, he is survived by eight grandchildren: Alyssa (Braden) Walker, Tyler, Brandon (Danielle), Emmanuel, Nathaniel, DameAnna, Kavon and Kavonte Hurd; great-grandchild, Avery Ross Hurd.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Hackworth; one sister; and two brothers.
A private graveside service will be conducted. Pastor William Whitaker will be officiating the services.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is entrusted with all arrangements.
