Rosemary J. Ege-Flenner, 83, North Manchester, and formerly of Gilead, died at 1:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre of Wabash. She was born Sept. 16, 1934, in Muncie, and was the son of Gerald B. and Betty Louise Clanin Boggess.

On Sept. 21, 1952, at the Gilead United Methodist Church, she married Kenneth W. Ege. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1996. She then married Galen Richard Flenner on Dec. 20, 1997, at the North Manchester First Brethren Church. He preceded her in death on July 5, 2003.

She repaired timers and was the union representative for Eaton (Singer) Controls of North Manchester for over 25 years.

She was a 1952 graduate of Gilead High School. She was a member of the Women of the Moose of Rochester, and the Preey-Do-Rites Home Ec Club. She enjoyed euchre, dancing, and all kinds of music. In her earlier years, she enjoyed roller skating and singing at weddings which included her own.  She was a big Willie Nelson fan.

Survivors include one son, Leland, and wife, Pam Ege, Akron; three daughters: Sheila and husband Kevin Fitzpatrick, North Manchester, Sharon and husband David Pararo, Lilburn, Ga.; Sandra Ege and Randy Ingle, Warsaw; five grandchildren, Zachary, Chad, Matthew, Kenneth and Lauren; three great-grandchildren, Oliver, Mavis and Eliza; one sister, JoAnn of Mehring, O’Fallon, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Kenneth and Galen; and a sister, Janet Louise Mitchell.

Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron.

Burial will be at Gilead Cemetery, Gilead.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 18 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
