Rosemary D. Turner, 93, of Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne, passed away at 7:25 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, in Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne.
She was born March 19, 1925, in Fort Wayne, to Henry and Fern Louise Lindsay DeFravel. Rosemary was united in marriage to William Turner on July 10, 1945, in Fort Wayne at Baer Field Army Air Corps Barracks. He preceded her April 10, 2010.
She was a homemaker and a former operator for General Telephone. Her memberships included Trinity English Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, and American Legion Post 296 Auxiliary, Fort Wayne.
Survivors include her sons, Robert “Bob” (spouse Julie) Turner, Warsaw, and John (spouse Pam) Turner, Elburn, Ill. In addition, grandchildren April (spouse Brandon) Aylor and Aaron (spouse Abby) Turner, both of Warsaw; and great-grandchildren Addisyn and Aiden Aylor and Reese, Quinn and Cruz Turner survive.
Visitation is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, in Lutheran Life Villages, 6701 S. Anthony St., Fort Wayne.
Rosemary’s funeral service will immediately follow calling hours at the Villages, with the Rev. Dr. Kathleen Haller officiating. Private interment will follow in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is entrusted with arrangements.
