Joe L. and Deloris A. Rose, 105 E. Section St., Claypool, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary May 28, 2010.
Joe and the former Deloris Ann Wallen were married May 28, 1960, in West Virginia.
Joe retired from R.R. Donnelley & Sons Inc. in August 2003, after 40 years of service. Deloris retired from Flexsteel Inc. in September 2002.
The couple have five children: Kimberly Sue Rose (and spouse Michael Ray) Whitaker, North Manchester; Debra Ann Rose (and spouse Douglas Lee) Drudge and Joe Lewis Rose Jr., all of Claypool; Lisa Fay Rose (and spouse Christopher Alan) Pett, Stevens Point, Wis.; Lori Kay Rose (and spouse Bret Alan) Stanger, Winona Lake; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
They will celebrate with an open house Saturday at 5 p.m. at the American Legion Post 258, 104 N. 1st St., Pierceton.
