ROCHESTER — Roscoe "Pete" Heckaman, 96, Argos, died at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at his residence.
He was born May 4, 1922, in Bremen, to Walter Ray and Elva Berkeypile Heckaman. He was married on Aug. 28, 1943, in Burbank, Calif., to Mary Elizabeth Neff Roscoe. She died Dec. 7, 2011.
Pete was a 1941 graduate of Bourbon High School. He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
A celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday in the funeral home.
Interment will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
