COLUMBIA CITY – Rosalind J. “Rosie” Klingaman, 65, Etna Troy Township, Whitley County, died at 2:17 p.m. Oct. 30, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. She was born March 13, 1950, in Fort Wayne, to Tony L. and E. Louise Hively Gaff. On Feb. 10, 1973, she was united in marriage to Eugene D. Klingaman, who survives. Her formative years were spent in Jefferson Township, Whitley County. She graduated from Columbia City Joint High School. She continued her education at St. Francis College in art and later Purdue University. They made their first home in West Lafayette. In 1974 they moved to Etna Troy Township, moving to their present home in 1977. While living in West Lafayette, she was employed in the Entomology Department at Purdue University. Upon returning to Whitley County, she was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her four children. She was a member of First Church of God and also attended New Life Church. Also surviving are four children: Jason (and spouse Mallika) Klingaman, Warsaw; Holly (and spouse Jeremy) Sorenson, Heather (and spouse Jason) Fest and Jennica (and spouse Ben) Maggard, all of Larwill; nine grandchildren: Ahren, Eli, Wyatt and Judah Fest; Austin, Serena and Priya Klingaman; and Everett and Graham Maggard; her mother, Louise Gaff, Larwill; two brothers, Stan Gaff, Larwill, and her twin, Ron Gaff, Philippines; and one sister, Jeanette Jordan, Columbia City. She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters, Toni Elaine Norden and Linda Lou Gaff. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Church of God, Columbia City. Burial will be in Keister Section of Scott Cemetery.
