Ronnie Shoemaker AwardsThe Ronnie Shoemaker Award was originally started in 2003 by Christina Teevan, a former Lincoln teacher, and Ron Shoemaker. They started the award to honor and praise the hard work, determination and perseverance for students in the fourth, fifth and sixth grade. School is not always easy and this award is for those students who encounter obstacles but persevere. Pictured (L to R) are Ronnie Shoemaker; Chris Lewis, sixth grade; Elizabeth Puckett, fifth grade; Nate Carlin, sixth grade; and Amy Staton, special education teacher.
