Ronald Thomas Konkle, 59, Pierceton, passed away at 12:58 p.m. Nov. 12, 2015, in his residence. He was born Feb. 29, 1956, in Warsaw, to Sylvan and Doris Shafer Konkle. On Sept. 17, 1993, in Warsaw, he married Sandra Collier, who survives in Pierceton. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, he served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict from 1973 to 1975. He worked for Kimble International and then J.B. Pallet as an assembler. Also surviving are three children, Paul Wayne Konkle, Avilla, Richard Cain, Warsaw, and Kristi Goss, Salem; his mother, Doris Palmer, Warsaw; six sisters: Laura Deckery, New Bern, N.C.; Kim Mitchell, Leesburg; Elizabeth Konkle, Hudson, Fla., and Penny Blair, Patty Rice and Vicki Lambert, all of Warsaw; three brothers, Gary Konkle, Warsaw, Wilson Konkle and John Konkle, both of Hudson, Fla.; and five grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 21 in Oakwood Cemetery, Legion Circle, with Pastor Bob Jarboe officiating and with military honors by American Legion Post 49 and VFW Post 1126, Warsaw. ***** Condolences via mchattonsadlerfuneralchapels.com
