MILFORD - Ronald "Ron" Lee Kreider, 72, of 209 S. East St., Milford, died July 17, 2008, in Milford.
He was born Jan. 28, 1936, in Leesburg to Howard and Irene Miller Kreider. On Oct. 6, 1979, in Milford, he married Kathy Cripe, who survives.
He was a lifetime area resident. He owned his own construction business. He was a member of the American Legion and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Also surviving are three sons, Don Kreider and Derek Kreider, both of Milford, and Jeff (and spouse Katja) Stookey, Winterville, Ga.; three daughters, Valerie (and spouse Steve) Tucker, Milford; Vicki (and spouse Brian) Stutzman, Goshen; and Laurie (and spouse Dave) Miller, Fort Wayne; a sister, Gwen (and spouse Wayne) Teeple, Winona Lake. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor John Lowe officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Milford.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services Tuesday.
