MILFORD – Ronald “Ron” D. Keppler, 70, of Milford, died June 4, 2011, in IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born Dec. 1, 1940, in Fort Wayne, to Douglas and Vera Denney Keppler-Hoffer. On Sept. 3, 1969, he married Ivanka Komucar, who survives. He graduated from Warsaw High School before joining the U.S. Air Force, where he served from 1960-69. While in the service, he met Ivanka and they eventually married. He lived in Milford since 1971, and was a supervisor at Brock for 35 years, retiring in 2006. He kept busy working on and restoring classic cars. Also surviving are two sisters, Tanay Barlage, Fort Wayne, and Trudy Grose, Whiteland. He was preceded in death by his parents and a twin brother, Donald. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mishler Funeral Home, 461 W.
