COLUMBIA CITY - Ronald Ray Ross, 91, of Huntington, formerly of Warsaw, died at 8:05 a.m. Dec. 13, 2007, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He was born Sept. 29, 1916, in Lisbon, N.D., to Ray and Ethel Yeoman Ross. On Jan. 20, 1940, in Mishawaka, he married Mary Paklet, who preceded him in death.

A resident of Huntington for 24 years, he moved to Warsaw in 1967 and to Leesburg, Fla., in 1992 before moving to Fruitland Park, Fla., then to Heritage Pointe, Huntington, in 2005. He was a 1934 graduate of Huntington North High School. He retired from Our Sunday Visitor Inc., Huntington, on Dec. 31, 1979. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington.

Survivors include three sons: Thomas L. (and spouse Karen) Ross, Arvada, Colo.; Robert R. (and spouse Andris) Ross, Andrews; and Roger W. (and spouse Janna) Ross, Fremont; a daughter, M. Marlene (and spouse Al) Korpi, Livonia, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Christman, Huntington. He was preceded in death by twin grandsons, a great-grandson and two brothers.

Services will be at noon Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Huntington, with Father John Pfister officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Cemetery, Columbia City.

Calling is from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the church.
