SYRACUSE – Ronald Pietosi Sr., 65, of Cromwell, passed away June 7, 2013, in his residence. He was born May 7, 1948, in Detroit, Mich., to Lou and Anna Gall Pietosi. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and recently retired from Dutchman, Goshen, after many years of service. He was a member of Syracuse Veterans of Foreign Wars, Eagles Lodge and attended Wawasee Lakeside Chapel. Surviving are two sons, Ronald Jr. (and spouse Teresa) Pietosi and Mike (and spouse Tracy) Pietosi; a daughter, Felicia Pietosi; a brother, Stephen Herrage; four sisters: Paula Bruning, Judy Sukenik, Stephanie Shafer and Brenda Saro; five grandchildren; and his companion, Blanca Lozano. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse, with Pastor Brad Cox officiating, followed by military honors by Syracuse VFW.
